NEW TO CAN AM NEED HELP DECIDING ON A NEW SxS
hey all, my first post here. so i am in the market for a side by side. this will be my first coming from quads since i was 14 im 39 now. ive never been brand loyal so to speak ive had honda, kawasaki and suzuki's and the 1 polarisnever owned a can-am.
i have narrowed it dow to 2 machines i think. a rzr S 1000 or canam maverick X xc. im very torn i like things about both machines and then there are things i hear i dont like about each reliability wise. i realize this is an maverick forum but be as honest as you can i appreciate it.
can am negatives i read seems like people go through belts and there hard to change when u do, also cabin heat.
on the rzr i read wheel bearings go bad frequently, dirt build up in clutch, bad bushings... ect.
i like the rzr seems like it crawls rocks and rutted trails better then the mav but the mav interior is so damn nice and gauges in front of you as opposed to centered on dash is a nice touch and the deals the stealership gives on the mavs are better so cost savings on the mav side.
i live in Sahuarita in southern az so mostly mountain trail riding here. i have no interest in dunes and minimal if any mud. please help a guy out with some advise last thing i want to do is regret not buying the other 18k is a big purchase to make a mistake.
