You really can’t tell just by looking. Measure front of tire center to center then measure back of tire center to center

I did that and also pulled a string front to back and adjusted the alignment I was just curious if other people found this when changing wheels and tires from the factory.

 

Changing wheels and tires does not change alignment.

 

I just couldn’t tell the alignment was off with the skinny cryptids and with the carnivores it was obvious so I wondered if others found same issue

 

The tires must just be showing the alignment more than your old ones.

I use Long Acre toe plates and thought I was getting the alignment pretty close. Took it to a shop and it is was off much more than I thought.

Toe should be about 3/16 in at the front, zero at the rear if its able to be adjusted.

I remember your post about this Tim,,, but can't find it now. I'd like to take mine in to the guys you had do yours shortly.

What was the name of that shop again???? I seem to remember you saying they knew their stuff (re SXS's) and did a good job.

Did you drive it once you swapped tires or just let it back down? I've seen some funny looking things out of place without driving it at least a short distance.

I sure did, I also waited till after I fox tuned the front before adjusting it in case that made a difference

 

What is your toe measurement? Give us a #.

 

Currently after adjustment the front of the tire is 44 1/2 the rear of tire is 44 1/4

 

Getting there but still toed out. Either way keep adjusting until you get 1/8" to 1/4" toed in.

If using just a tape measure, measuring from the center seam in the center of the tire is probably the best way. As in the visible line in the center of the tire you can see from the tire molding process.

 

Shock Therapy talks about toe in/out just with ride height alone. Now they make an adjustable bump steer dekete kit that can really dial in your toe situation

 

A buddy of mine had the same issue and kept adjusting, even on the trail, but said the steering just never felt right. He finally caved and took it to a shop for an alignment and said the steering is way better than anything he could have done.

I didn’t have any issues going to a 31” Kanati Terra Masters.
