Lots of cool stuff with the RC. I do like it comes with the 4 seat transmission, lower gearing (gears 1-3 from a video I watched), longer wheelbase, and the 35" tires.

Will Can Am be the first to offer 8 year financing to make these affordable month payments?

Bro, you don’t have $855 (not including tax and dealer “fees”) a month for 7 years?
You really need 8?? 🤣

It is crazy though. If you can’t pay cash or a substantial down payment (half or more) for 36 months you’re making a very bad financial choice. A lot worse than just buying a SxS as it is lol.

Yes, not a very wise decision to buy one of these if you can't at least afford 1/2 down at least. Even agreeing to pay 9% on any amount is not making a wise choice, especially on a nice to have luxury item. If you can trully afford it you would pay cash.

I don't see many people out financing the expensive V8 sand cars, these price tags are becoming no different.

Kind of a 2 fold problem. They have priced it out of range for I would say most younger people (I am 35) and recreational riders. You could get it and than race it after adding a lot more money to it. But not a lot of middle ground really for everyday riders
I think someone building a competition race machine would buy the base model and go to town on it. Half the stuff is getting replaced anyway.

XRC and XRS are for older people with lots of disposable income and recreational use. Also a bit of abandonment of good sense. 🤣

That's my question, how good is it if I have to buy it. I see you can upgrade to a Level 5 but that's an additional $5260 on top of the $3700. So it can't be that great.
$9K for a factory sound system....
Level 5 is 5260 total, it includes level 3.

Yea, sorry, that was kind of my thought. Racers arnt going to really buy it unless maybe brand new to racing. And out of price range for I would think most normal people.

My only problem with all the “smart” things is they work great…until they don’t. Or you try to change something and have to end up changing 3 others because of it. Or in my case almost unable to change. Or need someone close by with unlocked BUDs to work on it (which I don’t have). But I get it, for the average person that wants to buy one and than just go drive around it works great.
You should buy a 1975 dirtbike then, a modern SxS isn't for you.

Hah not really, I built one I can live with though.

I felt that across the Mav lineup, the XRC offered the most for my taste. Now at $48K to start that includes a ridiculously overpriced stereo that I don’t want, and doesn’t include the full underbelly skid plates, it seems that is no longer the case for me. Maybe an end of model year price slash of say $3700 could entice me?

They are giving you a lot of stuff for the price.
Compared to the already over inflated price.
How much less could it have been without the $3700 stereo though.
I’m not going to excuse the ridiculous pricing and mandatory options on these things lately.
The market will decide, once the whales have scooped them up time will tell how many they sell. At this pricing I doubt they will sell as well as the x3 XRC sold. That model gave you a lot for your money and didn’t make you buy expensive stereos or smart lights.

I give Kawasaki a lot of credit for bringing a strong competitor for almost $10k less.
