well those who saw the announcement and looked at the website, what are your thoughts?
I have most of the BRP accessories connected to the ACM on my 2025 R Xrs. I'm happy with the convenience but apparently the additional auxiliary outputs were disabled by software. BRP stated they will reactivate them in a future update. I'll probably use all all seven auxiliaries and being able to control them through the screen eliminates the need for another switch panel. All the accessories that have "SMART" in the name wire into the Accessory Control Module. It's a computer that mounts under the top dash panel, and links all of the smart accessories to the touchschreen. You don't actually need any rocker switches to control them, my mirror lights, hood light, and powerflip, can all be controlled from the steering wheel, or the touch screen. It's also what makes the mirror lights point in the direction you turn the steering wheel, and makes the wiper intermittent more often the faster mph you go. For the light bars they are flood at low speed and spot at higher speeds to see farther away.
The alternative to the ACM is to buy a separate small harness for each accessory that has wiring and rocker switch, and forgo the "smart" features and just turn them on/off. The ACM has a "front" and a "rear" harness that supports every accessory you can install on it, the rear one does chase lights and the particle separator and stuff. The front harness comes with the ACM, the rear one is sold separately. This makes every single BRP smart accessory incredibly simple to install. There's already a wire with a plug in the vehicle ready to accept the accessory, you just plug it in and then go to the dash screen and add it to the list of stuff you have. No relay, no power/ground, no switch needed.
The ACM PN is 715009796 and it costs $929, it would be wild if they included it. The PN shown above is different, and doesn't come up in any search for me so I can't check if it's a similar ACM or what.
Nah, I don't think we do, I just think that sometimes it is harder for us both to explain/understand in writing rather than in an in-person conversation. This is why I hate texting, it lacks tone, emotion, etc.I guess we have a different standard for camp etiquette.

Great info! I was thinking about hooking whip lights to one of them so now I will hold off.I have most of the BRP accessories connected to the ACM on my 2025 R Xrs. I've had quite a few situations like that where a bright back up light was needed over the years.I installed after only seeing at night in camera when brake is pressed, when turning around in a sticky situation on a hill.....
