Hi all. I am new to the forum and have a question regarding putting stock X3 wheels on my Maverick Trail 1000. The Mav trail has 10mm studs where as the X3 uses 12mm studs. I don’t think anyone makes an adapter that is 10mm holes with 12mm studs. So are you guys using X3 spacers or are you using Mav Trail spacers and changing out the studs in the adapters to 12mm. Also, any thoughts on th fact that the trail wheels ar hub centric and the X3 wheels are lug centric. Thanks.

Tapered lug nuts center the wheel just fine.

Thanks for your help. Are you good with 10mm wheel studs holding the X3 wheels onto the adapter? The wheels are now moved out further due to the spacers and wider wheels. I am thinking of pressing the 10mm studs out of the spacers and changing to 12mm. It isn’t an easy change though since the thru hole has to be drilled out along with the counter bore being increased in diameter since the base shoulder of the new wheel studs is large.
