is that every year?!

my 12 2500 cummins was around 180 here in michigan.. HOWEVER our insurance costs are insane. For our sport max, house, my 2012 cummins, wife's 2013 yukon xl denali, and our trailer for the sxs, full coverage on all, is 465/mo..
If you think that insane for cost for full coverage an all that you would cry seeing my insurance bill monthly

Not answering for Tim, but basically yeah. Your registration is based off the price of the vehicle, unfortunately, and it’s not even the registration, which with mine is about $12.00 It’s all the BS taxes and stuff that shoots the price up. It drops roughly $110 or so a year. I paid $650 for each truck, next year should be around $540, yippee!🙄

Yes, sort of.

It is based on value, so it will be a little less next year but not much less.

I think the first year my RV was about 1800.00

Our insurance isn't much cheaper, similar list of stuff and coverage.

yeah our registration cost goes off the original msrp for the vehicle for registration. trailers (including campers) are a 1 time registration fee for as long as you own it. which isn't a terrible price.. i think my 16' landscape trailer was like $100-$150.. Now if you own a motorhome, you get hosed. you have to buy tags for that every year and that can get you bad. family friends have a 20 year old diesel pusher they bought used a handful of years ago. registration for that thing goes off the original msrp and is around the $1800 mark every year

i compare prices to my brother in wisconsin. they have newer and more expensive vehicles, plus a teenage driver, and more items, and pay 1/2 of what we pay per month

You’re not wrong. They leave for a reason but then try and change the next place into the same stupid shit as California
Actually the smart Californians sell their 3 bedroom track home for $2,000,000 and retire at a Florida country club the rest of their lives, the broke down ones head east until they run out of gas a couple three states over Those are your neighbors ha ha

I live near Sun City and I must say the snow birds are getting more annoying.

They drive horrible, they won't make a left until the green arrow, won't make a right on red.

Drive 5 under the speed limit.

I'll one-up you. I used to live in the FL Keys. Imagine getting stuck behind some Ohio tagged Chevy Cavalier occupied by people who have never seen the Ocean.... on a two lane road that goes for 120ish miles!

I picked up a 2024 Maverick R XRS w/smart shox for $9500 off msrp ($34,999). I just paid a doc fee ($199), title/registration fee ($65) and state tax. I had to go to Midwest Indiana from Michigan to get it.

I’m thinking about adding a Mav R XRS SS to the garage in the next few weeks.

I was wondering what people are paying — are dealers discounting MSRP? I’d like to go in armed with acceptable numbers.

I live in Phoenix and there are a lot of Rs in dealer stock here, and a lot of dealers to choose from.
I just bought a 2025 mav R max with smart shocks. After financing and I bought a few extra coverages, it ended up around 70k ish

Same machine. Paid 34900 two months ago. No fees or add one. 2024 Mav r xrs with smart shocks. Bought it out of state in Minnesota. If you purchase out of state in MN, there are no sale taxes. I also got accessories at 15% off, no taxes and shipped to my house.
