I doubt anyone is discounting them at this point. You can probably get them to drop or reduce their fees, but that's about it. Just call around and ask for quotes. You might get your preferred dealer to match the lowest quote, but expect to pay MSRP.

I would think if there is that many on the lots in the area, they will make some deals. Curious on the outcome as well. My local dealer has two in stock I believe currently.

 

i think the car is over priced for what i is. Basically an X3 with ugly front suspension and a goofy automatic slush box.

There are deals out there for the Maverick R. Not like they are flying out of the dealers showrooms.
I think getting it for MSRP OTD will be tough because the sales taxes is a good chunk of chain. They would have to discount the car a lot to get you OTD including sales tax, freight, and set up for MSRP.

 

The $36K is what it should have been. As long as there is no ADM, just tax and possibly freight / prep, that’s no too bad. Wait until Summer, prices will drop even more.

 

I didn’t pay any ADM on my loaded x3 last year, slightly less than MSRP actually. Just taxes, delivery, prep, etc on top.

 

Cheapest I've seen on a Black R-XRS-SS OTD without TT&L is 44,400.

Ridenow will add that discount back on and them some with fees and what not.

These are not selling like hotcakes. By the end of the year, you will probably see 8-10k off like they had on Pro's for end of the year sales.

 

My buddy paid $48k otd for his.....sticker was $43k sticker

Just use more tire sidewall to squeeze through the trails. A new Maverick R would be more exciting on your ride from The Joint in Randsburg back to camp. LOL!!!!!

having previous work experience in manufacturing i can explain what could be happening.

the OEM could possibly be at the point where they can hardly keep up with required production numbers due to material shortages. So they are not producing "service" parts at this time.

Why would they push back the "service" orders? Because if BRP is anything like their automotive counterparts, if you hold up THEIR production/assembly line, you get fined $$$$ for every hour they are down waiting on your part(s).

they still get fined for not filling 'service' orders, but that is pennies compared to what they would be charged to hold up the assembly line(s).

 

I had accepted the idea that there would be first year issues with the R but am still amazed. Somebody's either not paying attention or should not be getting paid.

 

I wonder how many of the ones sitting at dealers have the updated arms or if they still shipping them as is till there a problem then replace

 

There were 2 at our local dealer a month or so ago, both had the updated arms already installed.

 

When I buy mine next year the only reason it ever go back to the dealer is a motor or trans issuse under warranty. Anything else I’d replace with better aftermarket options. But I totally understand waiting for them to fix there mistake.

 

My dealer tried to get canam to provide me an aftermarket solution and they refused. The fix included a new shock I didn't have much an option on that.
