You should see it around the 4:00 mark. I think we're using a different solenoid now that may be bigger, but you should be good in the same general spot.
yes I looked at YouTube and I saw this video. That solenoid looks smaller than the one I have. The foot print is 4x3 and the control wire comes out the adjacent side as the primary wires coming out the end makes the placement more difficult. Base on how heavy this feels i do not think the 2 small plastic tabs are going to hold this if hung vertically or upside down.
There is not a space large enough in the area in front of the shift
So there is this flat spot. The plastic pretty firm. I would probably use industrial velcro. This mounts it pretty low and more likely to get submerged. I would think the solenoid would be sealed but there is not IP rating. I am setting my MT up to meet Michigan street legal requirements. It looks like there would be room above for window washer fluid container
Mounted my contactor in the tray just below the start/stop button. Bought the Fourwerx side covers to enclose the sides and made a mount plate for the front opening to mount my belt temp gauge, dimmer switch, and NoCo charge port
I didn’t like how low it sat in my first PictureI so I move it to here moved it here
