So looking at the pictures, it appears the dragon fire fender guards are much wider than the Can Am branded bumper/ guards. I like the little more subtle look. Am sure both will work.

Also read Can Am works with spare tire mount. Although i like the dragon fire mount it basically takes over the bed

 

I have most of my stuff either at the "local" dealer (3 hours away) with the 10% Costco discount, or through Rocky MT. ATV.

I have the front trail bumper. It's black, and metal. Only takes about 5 minutes to put on. About all I have to say about it. It has a mount where I was able to fit a 10" BD LED lightbar. Holes did not match between mount and lightbar, but I made it work. Not a bad bumper, but I think the aftermarket will eventually make a nicer one at a better price.

I have the roof. Again, black and plastic. Not much to say. I needed it pronto for plowing and riding in the snow. So it works. Same with plastic windshield. Aftermarket has options for both these now.

I like the Dragonfire spare tire mount, but it does not work for me as I use the cargo area everytime. Either gear, or a dog. So, most likely will run the trail bumper with spare tire carrier.

 

^^^ As mentioned in other threads, mine had Can-Am OEM plastic roof plus half windshield already installed when bought. Also ordered Can-Am hinged A-T Trunk Cover which hasn't arrived. I keep trail riding gear and emergency tools in inexpensive H-F canvas bags as linked below and will store those bags plus insulated lunch bag inside the trunk cover out of dust and mud.

I ordered Can-Am HMWPE front/rear a-arm skids plus front center skid from RM ATV yesterday - all in stock, already shipped to arrive Friday.

I like the appearance and apparent quality of Dragonfire items designed for Mav Trail but expensive compared to Can-Am brand equivalent parts! In addition to those rock sliders, their front and rear bumpers and exo-frame corner protectors tying to their front bumper appeal but wouldn't choose the front intrusion bar. The Dragonfire spare tire holder wouldn't work for me either, however mounting it there would help with weight distribution.

I don't have the trunk. For me it would take up too much room for dog(s) etc. I did put the cargo extension kit on. Not much to it, but helpful for the keeping a dog in the back. Easy and fast to take on and off.

I have the Can Am center mirror. Again, it works. Costs more than it should but was only option at time, and I needed it to be MT. street legal. Today some Seizmik Pursuit mirrors arrived that I will install soon.

I have a good supply of Pelican cases and dry bags from other activities. So everything goes into them, and then gets strapped down. I like my cargo area to be flexible. One day this MavT is driving for fun, the next it is plowing, the next it is doing work (cutting trees, etc). So the cases/drybags can be left packed, and taken in and out as needed. They are easy to hose off when dirty/dusty as well.

 

Does anyone with a x3 full cab have intel on what side mirrors work best.

^^^ This being the Mav Trail forum, you might get more specific responses in another Mav forum...

Nonetheless, although some Trail owners are pleased with Seismic brand side mirrors, my preference generally would be OEM versions, i.e., the ones linked below with installation instructions below that. Uncertain if compatible with full cab. If with soft upper doors, seems not. Good luck and enjoy your X3!
