That is correct they removed the air intake temp for some reason. They added the compass yes and battery voltage.

 

They took away the boost% also I did notice one think the volt gauges has 2 dots a orange and white kinda like you can switch to something else but i couldn’t figure out

what else did the update do for us

 

They didn't take away boost %, when you're on the voltage view hit the toggle on the steering wheel (the one that says OK), it will switch it to Boost %

They did take away IAT, from what I could find too many people called to report problems with "high IAT" because they didn't understand how it works, so BRP just removed it to avoid confusing and worrying people.

My stereo is like twice as loud, that was a nice bonus lol. They said something about gear shift assistant but I didn't find that anywhere. It has the group ride feature in the navigation app, I think other than just reliability fixes.

 

I havent done my update yet. is the touch screen still basically frozen while vehicle is in motion?

 

No, you can control it at any speed now. That's actually a big change I forgot they added.

 

I am still wanting digital water and trans temps! The air intake was nice to have also. I am still unsure what the gear shift assistant is. But I did about 200 miles the other day over a bunch of trails and rode in normal mode all day. May be a total fluke but it didn’t seem to hunt for gears nearly as much. Often on the slower trails I would run soort mode so that it would lessen the shifting up and down. Maybe this is just a fluke and has nothing to do with the update. Maybe it does. I don’t know.

 

Still trying to figure this out as well. My friends don’t yet have the screen in the machine. Have a friend with the new Mac R XRC on order so will be able to play with it then. He did create a group in the BRP go app and we can see each other there with service. Trying to figure out how to get the functionality with the in car GPS.

 

I think the friend thing is part of the phone app, I looked in my dash and didn't see where you can do that with the screen only.

 

I’m seeing the same, the phone is the brain and the screen is well just a screen.
