Mega, I've always liked you on multiple websites and liked most of your comments, and I admire you for doing the frame swap from 2-seater to 4-seater in your garage. My post has my 100% honest beliefs from what I've personally witnessed in riding the XC and observing the 4-seaters IN THE DESERT, not in the dunes.

I knew before I posted it that many people would disagree. That's no problem with me. I'm not trying to convince anybody of anything. But I just felt like being honest and blunt tonight in this particular topic. Hey I hope everyone enjoys their 4-seaters.

Regarding why I still have the XC, I'm not convinced yet with Can Am, Kawasaki or Honda, for my own reasons which I'll hold back here. For my purposes, the XC is still OK. If I was addicted to the dunes, it would not be OK.
WTF...?

Your post was a serious post?

That has to be the biggest B.S. story I have ever heard!

So you're racing against Max X3'S with 172 to 195 HP and passing them! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 I bet they never knew they were in a race!

So you pass with them with the WORST sxs suspension design ever and way too short of a wheelbase and the best part, drum roll please.... the horsepower of a riding lawnmower!

I have tears in my eyes from laughing!

Regarding the Max, I'm not a fan of the XC or X3 Max models. I have to pass X3 Max's at times, because turbo or non-turbo, they can't keep up with my pace in the desert. My 2-seater XC non-turbo 101HP model has been fun to drive. I understand it's definitely not the best for Glamis, but it performs very well at Superstition Mountain (west of Brawley CA) which has plenty of sand. Regarding ride quality, I have some upgraded Fox adjustable shocks, heavy Eibach springs in back, and light Eibach springs in front, and with the simple adjustments I'm enjoying my rides very much. I have learned how to drive and have fun with my setup.

If for some reason something changes with me and I ever need to but a 4-seater, it's definitely going to be a Rzr because they seem proportionally much better set up than the Can Am's. I mean it's glaringly obvious when I walk by them.

Surely, you can't be serious? And yes, I called you "Shirley" (Airplane) LOL.

I found a pic of Phoenix and he is passing people on his souped up lawnmower!

I really like the Evel Knievel outfit, it really shows he's legit!

101 squirrel power baby!

Tim, putting aside your exaggerations, the fact is that there are people who don't know how to drive their 4-seater X3's that well/fast in certain terrains, and I have come up upon some of them from behind at various times. That is a FACT!!!!

Does that mean that I said I'm beating all 4-seater X3's? No.

I will never be a fan of the 4-seater Can Ams, from seeing their performance in the desert, and watching many videos. They are too long and too low. Whatever I own now or in the future doesn't matter in this opinion.

First you alleged it was the machine, now it's the driver.

Just as a matter of notation, no shiat is sticking, keep trying...

I suspect you've spent very little time driving a max x3, likley any X3 for that matter based on your preposterous assertions.

You likley have no idea what a good handling SXS feels like let alone a good handling off road car period.

I can tell you my OG Maverick turbo was an improvement over the og maverick. Wheel base and horspower, shocks done by CT and it handled poorly at best compared to an X3.

The max handles very well with it's long wheel base and long travel suspension, combined with close to 200 HP, it's a decent desert car.

I have had numerous SXS's and long travel sand cars. I have baselines to use for comparisons.

I don't use " I saw one drive past me" as a comparison. It's flawed logic and I use logic loosely mind you.

This is a classic case of everyone thinking they are a better driver than everyone else and just because they spent their money on something, it must be the best. See this all the time when people recommend a certain product to others but have zero experience outside of what they bought. Its quite funny.

I agree MG.
The OP asked about a
What about mountain trailers in the Payson Az area I don’t dine much at all
I assume you meant dune.

The machine is mediocre at best.

Like I said the Polaris 4 seater in a similar price range might be best.
