Yea, I agree somewhat but some are reporting loaded XRS Max for like 44-45k OTD.
I think the XRC is ok with all the extra stuff they added but just questioning if I really need all that extra stuff. Outside of a couple items I’m not sure I do. 54k for a loaded XRC with SS will be like at least 60k OTD and is a lot of dough considering my loaded X3 was 35k only a couple years ago lol.
Show me that and ill buy it. Ive been talking to several dealers and no such deal can be had from my dealings.

Best deal I saw was left over 24 SS two seat just shy of 38k NO tax. So really over 40k.

I got a deal for a demo 4 seater SS read used, for 48k OTD.

No, the X RC models both have the longer trailing arms and the X RS don't have them. Both RC models are 5" longer than the RS models.
Is that confirmed somewhere with data?
I’ve only seen random forum posts (with no data) about it and they are almost always referring to the 2 seater.
Can am only lists total length now, they don’t list wheelbase anymore. Total length will be longer just due to much larger tires.

Example the 2 seat XRS is listed as 7.4” shorter total length than XRC 2 seater. 4 seater XRS is listed as 5” shorter total length than XRC. Doesn’t seem like the 4 seater XRC is extended quite as much as the 2 seater. Not that that is a bad thing, the 4 seater is already too long in either trim.

Probably a regional thing.
just going off posts I have seen and not everyone is in Arizona.

It appears based on RMATV that the 2026 2 seat RS and RC have different trailing arms, but the Max RC and RS have the same arms as the 2 seat RC. So, my GUESS is they are longer because of the longer trans and frame.

So the Max RS and RC use the same arms.
The 2 seater RC is using the longer 4 seat arms.
That’s what I was suspecting.
Again, not a bad thing as the 4 seater is already arguably too long and the 2 seater can benefit from being a little longer.

Question remaining is the 4 seat RS and RC using the same trans.

New XRC and Max run same trans, with possibly some different tuning, same trailing arms, shocks for max may be slightly different configuration but travel should be the same (we will know for sure as soon as Alex's XRC lands)

So that mostly settles it.
If you are looking at a 2 seater the differences between an XRS and XRC are significant and not just bolt on’s.
If looking at a 4 seater the changes are not quite as significant. Mostly bolt ons and possibly tuning.
Still a tough decision for me because I also like the color scheme of the XRC a lot more than the XRS.

Will you quite making me want to buy the XRC! 🤣

The car is pretty impressive in person and I love the color as well.

Tim just buy the xrc. You know you want too. I don’t think even in a year time there will be any deals to be had on the xrc. I got a fair deal on mine but I bought several. So far I only have one of the 4 I bought. It currently is a pile of pieces and a stripped to the frame for the build.

I’m the same but really not sure I want to drop 60k OTD on a toy. The 40k ish OTD (45k ish with mods) I dropped on the x3 was already a lot. If I could get closer to 50k OTD the decision would be easier. Is it that much better and more fun to justify 20k more than my x3? I know they aren’t the same but that new Kawasaki is pretty nice for 43k loaded.

Still in my head buying next spring, however as my parts list grows it may take the moon and stars to align right to make it all happen. That's a difficult decision to make when I have a beautiful, built, very low mile perfectly running X3 sitting in the shop when the money could/should go elsewhere.

But damn I want one........

I feel the same.
Going to drive one in a few weeks.
Hopefully that will help me decide if it’s worth it.
I’m thinking about a new truck too but I can’t do both.
Truck discounts are way better than Mav R discounts right now.

Yup... Especailly when we have plans to build a new home/shop
Plus:
New truck
Moho
New trailer

As said, the moon and stars..... I'm really afraid to go drive one.... report back! LOL

The new Maverick R XRC is so much more than just the transmission being larger. I know thats been a focus but after looking at one in person it's impressive!!!!

Some of it is just the fact its a 26 but not all of it.

The 26 cars get the group ride and the gen 3 shocks. The shocks are supposed to be much quicker reacting.

The dealer claims the new shocks react so fast you can hit a bump at 70mph and by the time the rear tire gets there the shock has stiffened up already.

But much of it is XRC only.

1. Bigger transmission
2. Fox steering stabilizer
3. Better skid plate
4. Stereo( BOO!!!)
5. Accessory module
6. Intrusion bars
7. 4500 LB winch
8. Rock slider
9. 35 inch tires
10 hood light

I may be missing things as well.

Tim
You forgot the group ride feature and not only the ACM, but both front and rear harness are on there.

The 2 seat XRC got the max transmission. Only the XRC got this transmission. It is 2” longer wheelbase than the other 2 seats. The trailing arms are the same ones the max uses and that is due in part to the bigger physical transmission in them. If I was getting a 2 seat I would go XRC for sure. They have so much added. My buddy @Deputymax has one in the wild. I would do it for the transmission alone I love the low range of my Max it crawls really well. There are a ton of extras on the XRC too.
