My tune came with launch control, I haven’t used it yet. For people that do use it, are there any issues, such as breaking drive train parts, or transmission damage? Any other problems?

EVO LC only works in 4wd to save drivetrain failure. But I would assume repeated launches on pavement or hard surfaces will take their toll on clutches etc. I have it as well and have only played with it briefly in the sand. The disclaimer should tell you everything need to know.
I been in a Mav r that has his set at 6500 rpm. And bet he launched over 100 times at that setting no failures yet. But the pops and bangs. Will do a number on your valve train over time. This mav r does have different valve springs already for that reason.
I grew up with high performance boats, owned them up until 6-7 years ago. I never hammered the throttles from dead in the water, it was always ease into the power to save the outdrive.
My brain cannot allow me to get on board with launch control.
It should be on all 26 Mav R variants. Older ones could get it too now that they support over the air updates.
