Didn't want to go the heavy boat anchor route.. Ended up getting the 4lb Shorai 540CCA battery that is same size(slightly smaller) than stock.

I have 3 batteries now that I did a big custom build stereo system with all JL product.

hey guys was wondering I have the double battery kit from UTV stereos and I am using stock battery type do you think I would need to get a better battery for a 1000 watt stereo light bar and some light pods or I should be good have it running for about 3 months haven't had any issues just notice small engine noise threw my speakers was wondering is I get a battery with more power that would help the issue

Get a better ground and do you have an in-line noise filter from the head unit?

I know this is an old post, but I have a question about your setup. I want to install a PC925 vertically, exactly as you have done, because of the fit issue. Everything I read says mounting an AGM battery vertically is a no-no, but I’m not convinced. Fortunately I saw your post and setup.

Have you had any issues with mounting it as shown in your photo?

Thank you.

Also, is that a custom made hold down bar you used on your battery in the stock location?

Warlock passed away a couple of years ago now.

He was a great guy. I rode with him several times.

Anyone following the LiFe or Lipo cells avalible?
Are any of those a interesting and reliable prospect for the price yet?
They could be. It really depends on the buyer / owner and what they want. I always recommend an Odyssey PC925 or PC1200. They've been proven to last, have great starting power, and have been a very reliable battery.

I am a fan of running two Odyssey PC925 instead of one big battery, but I also have a lot of accessories and want that extra protection of automatic battery separation.

Here is a pic of my setup. Madigan Motorsports battery tray, Dual odyssey pc925's wired to a blue sea battery switch and automatic isolator, home made cables. Also wondering what the two black boxes in front of the battery are. Would you also have a picture of the wiring behing the panel.....Hoping to replicate your setup......Thanks in advance.....

No battery in stock location

Hi My name is John and I am in the process of switching to the dual battery setup that you have installed. Best one I have seen. Just wondering which automatic battery isolator did you use.
