Looking to purchase a Max soon and wanted your opinion if the extra $2400, in my case, is worth it for the Xrs vs the standard model? Thanks!

It is really up to you if you want the added features. The Fox Podium 2.5 shocks are a major step up from the Fox 2.0 shocks. I haven't heard any negative feedback on the 2.0's on the MAx though... The QE front differential and Power steering are both nice upgrades. Power steering especially. And the Instrument cluster is much nicer on the XRS. The beadlock wheels are a nice addition as well. The only other differences are the seat covers and body plastics/graphics....so personnally, I think it is worth the added cost but it all depends on what you can live with or without.

I agree. It depends how much value you,the buyer puts on the extra's. For me it was worth it just for the better shocks & better gauge cluster alone. Now they give you DPS & QE, seems like a no brainer.

I've put just over 100 miles on my Max and love it. The upgrades for the XRS would cost you way more than $2400 in aftermarket parts, if you ever decide you want to add them later. The shocks retail for about that much.

Thanks guys. I thought DPS and QE were standard now on both models. Xrs is a no brainer then!
No, I just checked and they are not standard equipment on the base model....
