I have a friend that has 2019 x3 xds beadlocks on his 2020 maverick trail and he had to use 2 inch wheel spacers all around because of the x3 wheel offset. I run 2 inch spacers on my 21 maverick trail helps with stability imo.

I'm struggling to find the stock trail wheel sizes, does anyone know on a 2022 1000 DPS? I know they're 12", but offset/backspacing/width etc?

 

That’s wild they use the 4+3’s on the trails.

 

That's what I thought I was told was 4+3. Not 100% sure.. I do know you need 2 inch spacers on the maverick trails to run any 2018 and up x3 wheels with stock 28s as they have a deeper offset. And makes them pretty much rub on the trails shocks in the rear and you lose your oem width

 

The first number in the offset is how many inches the inside bead is from the hub face. The second number is the distance from the hub face to the outside bead of wheel. So a 5+2 sits more to the inside by one inch each side. A 4+3 is a deeper dish wheel than a 5+2 .

 

Yes I understand HOW the offset/backspacing works, hence why I was looking for the actual numbers...

the wheels fit, i recently fitted a set to get the trail through an MOT (annual car check) The offset brings them in close but they work.

Factory Trail wheels are 12X6. Roughly a 5+1 offset

 

Update: The fronts work perfectly fine without spacers, no rubbing, very close to factory width with the wider tires, however the rears rub the spring on the shock and are way sucked in. Waiting for spacers.

 

Update: Installed spacers + wheels/tires today, looks so much better, and will be a massive upgrade for them. Even with 2" spacers, they do rub pretty good at full lock.

 

Ive just put the superatv front 1.5" forward a arms which has stopped the rubbing. Not a fan of superatv but it beats the rubbing.
