Can Am says the P Drive can be retrofit on a 2021+ model.

2020 and earlier is a no go. Not sure what the difference is between a 2020 and 2021.

Well it's the same crankshaft part # for '20, '21, and '22's.

Part 420819935 for all 3 years. I dunno...

There is no key on the primary end of the crank on the '22 either.

I was talking to someone in the industry. They suspect it may have to do with the 2021 ECU upgrade.

But I can not confirm that for sure. I asked Can Am hopefully they answer again.

Ok so it is an ECU issue. And looks like it can be done with tunes down the road sometime.

Can Am just won't come out and say it because of legalese or whatever.

Here's their response...

That's pretty interesting. I'm not sure why I'd want it at this point but it'll be fun to see the aftermarket dig into it.
I would maybe do it when my current primary is toast eventually.

By that time qe should have some idea how worthwhile it is. And how they hold up over a bit of time.

By that time the aftermarket should be good to go as well.

Not at the top of my list as of now.
