Why can't you see over the nose ?Worth every penny for infinite airflow adjustment, seeing right over the nose, and closing it off for dust/water/rain/mud/cold on the fly.
I can when I open the windshield lol. The metal/glass windshields have a frame/vent thing at the bottom that reduces what you can seem when you look down over the front. The powerflip does have a small border but when you open it you have maximum visibility over the front. Why can't you see over the nose ?
Have you used one?The frame of the windshield doesn't block any more than the hood does. I don't need to see my hood, lol.I can when I open the windshield lol. Yeah, but maybe he also has these stickers and wants to see them?Have you used one?The frame of the windshield doesn't block any more than the hood does. I don't need to see my hood, lol.
Yes the last windshield on ours had a fixed piece at the bottom and now with the powerflip I can see more when I look down the nose.Have you used one?The frame of the windshield doesn't block any more than the hood does. I don't need to see my hood, lol.

That's like saying if you put a storage box on your hood it

That's like saying if you put a storage box on your hood it won't block your view![]()
Please note those stickers I mentioned earlier. You sir, cannot see them.View attachment 292302 View attachment 292307
How is this blocking my view? Full glass with vents. You couldn't see more if you had no windshield.
I didn't say yours blocked your view, I said ours blocked our view.View attachment 292302 View attachment 292307

That picture is sitting in the seat. I'm responding to your comment about a storage box on the hood. And no, a plastic windshield for 1000 bucks is not worth it. You were making a general statement about glass windshields as far as I could tell.I didn't say yours blocked your view, I said ours blocked our view.
If that is your view from where you sit (and not a picture taken from a higher vantage point) then that's awesome! I still think infinitely adjustable airflow and the ability to block off dust/rain/mud on the fly is well worth it.
I was making a statement about fixed windshields. In my experience a fixed windshield isn't worth 5 bucks. That picture is sitting in the seat. Yes, I've heard good things with a flip up!i love my power flip.. i bring a jug of water with me and use it to clean off the windshield at stops. I rinse the windshield as best as i can, and then use a small squeegee i carry with us to clean up the rest. Haven't seen a scratch yet shrug.. been doing this for 2 season (but we have less than 1000mi on our rig too).
Boy howdy with any windshield.my ONLY complaint is what someone else stated earlier.. if you are puddle splashing, and hit some cold water, that windshield fogs up instantly! and will leave you driving like ace ventura while waiting for it to clear up (or you open it and get splashed with muddy water)
If only you could have pushed a button from inside the vehicle to flip the windshield out of your way for maximum visibility.Boy howdy with any windshield.
I've told this story before.....
Several of us went out in the evening for a ride at the Oregon coast dunes when I and others had a full windshield. The fog came in, the weather got windy and misty, and sand started to stick.
ZERO visiblilty, we used up all the bottled water we had trying to rinse it off, only to have it come back within minutes.
I don't think I've ever had a more horrific 5 mile ride back to camp. With luck we didn't hit a tree, drop off and embankment, or in a witch eye etc....Friggin nuts!
Off they went and never looked back!
I agree,Boy howdy with any windshield.
