Where/How did you mount your AIM infrared belt temperature gauge?

Looking for some good ideas where to mount the AIM gauge apart from the Mickey Mouse ears style on the gauge cluster?

Anyone have some alternative mounting positions that work well and they like better? Anyone have some thoughts on where they Wish they could mount it given the mounting hardware to do so?

For people that do use the cluster mount bracket, has anyone noticed any vibration from that cantilevered position, or had issues with screws backing out on the mount?

Well, here is the version to place it if you go to a Carbon Fiber Dash.

I'm using the dezert freaks mount, its been good so far. Vibration doesn't seem to have an impact and no screws have backed out. I would recommend it.

That looks like it is made for the old gauge cluster.

Thats the 2020+ version, the old (2017-2020) version came to a point just under the AIM gauge like thepcsurgeon posted.

Maybe its just to be different....But really didn't like the Mickey Mouse ears gauge placement... and settled on this position with a robust 3D printed double stick mount that fits the flat facet of plastic drivers right above the switches and start/stop button. Which doesn't sit too high up in the line of sight, nor does it impinge on any usable area/easy access to reach over and temporarily store gloves etc in that area on the dash.

It’s a Auto Meter 2 inch cup with adjustable swivel mounting base for better viewing…attached to the cage with a hose clamp with a rubbed cushion to under the clamp to prevent scratches to the paint…Pro UTV is the parts source..pm me your email for more detail…mounted below my Seizmic mirror…easy to monitor while driving
Hi rotarypower101. I was curious if you would post your 3D file for the belt temp gauge. Or are you planning on making and selling them? Looks good. I would like to have one.

I wish, dont think I have the right personality for that market truth be told...But wish I did, have all kinds of fun bits and pieces, even just in the photo above there are 6 bespoke parts just for the X3 in shot...and lots of others sprinkled elsewhere all over the car. Mostly small and inconsequential, but some significantly helpful for day to day use.
