So I'm installing the UTV INC. fan overide switch and following the directions to a tee, OK all done, wait there's another wire coming out of the relay that's about 4" long with a tab on it that reads "to battery ground"? No way that thing is gonna reach the battery ground due to it being 4" long. The one to the battery hot was about a foot to long so no problem there. Should I just ground it to the frame under the relay or drill a separate hole in the frame and use the second self tapping screw provided that is also an extra? just take your meter and ensure that wherever you ground it has less than 2 ohms resistance to the negative battery terminal.
