So I'm installing the UTV INC. fan overide switch and following the directions to a tee, OK all done, wait there's another wire coming out of the relay that's about 4" long with a tab on it that reads "to battery ground"? No way that thing is gonna reach the battery ground due to it being 4" long. The one to the battery hot was about a foot to long so no problem there. Should I just ground it to the frame under the relay or drill a separate hole in the frame and use the second self tapping screw provided that is also an extra? Picture 031.jpg

Any good ground on the frame will do.

Should be fine just putting to the frame from ground. Try to find a bolt or some where close to fasten it too. If nothing close and then just screw it to the frame.

just take your meter and ensure that wherever you ground it has less than 2 ohms resistance to the negative battery terminal.
