I really like the Orange RC colour scheme. Would buy one instantly if they brought that back.

First time out today. NW Wisconsin. Everything worked but I got it dusty! It was so clean before. Brisk plugs seem to be working fine.

Blew out the clutches today. Discovered some groves on one of the secondary rollers, as well as ridges on the helix. Figured Ill let her eat until the next service and fix it then.
Better to do them now and not have an issue on the first day of your trip..

How come no one ever considers the folks your riding with when you blow off fixing something you should ?

We had! THAT GUY in our group who would knowingly go in the trip with something he should fixed of course you would find that out on the trail as he broke down and tell ya yea I new I should fixed that

Finally we just never invited him with us anymore, no more dragging or trailering out his car.

I personally do not make a conscious decision based off who I ride with.

If I have something wrong that would interfere with my ride I would fix it, regardless of others.

If it is something for example a roller which is a wear item, it can wait until my next service.
If I had thought for a second it would fail I would put on the second set of clutches that are sitting on my floor.

I have not gone with anyone that has had a failed car because of something that could have been fixed and had not been.

Many of us have had that 1 guy in our multiple yearly riding groups that has the same questionable issues with their rigs, year after year that are not mechanically inclined...and won't take it to someone for a fix. I get where AZ is coming from on his statement.

I understand, I would be very frustrated if that was the case with the groups I have had the opportunity to ride with, but it has not been the case for me. I in no way was saying or implying anything other than what I have experienced, I was not taking offense to any statements. I have been fortunate in my experiences with groups that are like minded, and understand that shit happens. I am by nature a smart ass and did not intend to anger the masses.

You're totally golden and I was not calling y'all out. The lesser than 5% of some squeegees that off-road think that when their rigs go into broke-back-mountain mode, we 95+% mechanically inclined need to powder their butts after their poo-poo.

Installed new a arms and tie rods. New ball joints and greased the front bearings. Think I need an alignment now. Rear arms and links first... Tomorrow's goal.

Add a gusset here like I did, and save yourself some frustration later trying to get your shock bolt out. Otherwise they bend a little and that round hole becomes an oval.

I’d also suggest welding the jam nuts and and rod ends to the jam nuts. They’re known to get loose and pull out.

I have a gusset kit already, but not for the shock mounts. I'm not following what you're saying and not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at in the pictures.
