I just my 19 x3 maxx t-rr, I took it out for the first time and I’m hearing a weird noise from the front end. It’s sound kind almost rhythmic the way it hits( like the way a drive shaft would sound). I don’t think it is cause I put it through it’s paces breaking it in and no issues putting the power down. Weird thing is, it goes away some times. Wondering if anyone has experienced this and could give me some advice.

Welcome from Tucson AZ. Do you have your front sway bar connected?

I have a 2020 xds max rr and I had a similar sound. On way down hill it sounded like my front diff was the issue. Left front sway bar link was loose, tightened and sound went away.

My 19 came with about 1 spoon full of lube in the front diff. Didn’t make any noise. Just turned black.

Any change in noise pattern between 4 wheel drive modes, or more noticeable turning left or right. Does it seem to be more present in certain terrain? Or suspension loaded or not? May help you figure out if it’s suspension or drive train.

Still think it's your sway bar. Was it loose?
