valve cover leak bolt strip

Just noticed valve cover is leaking went to replace gasket and the bolt hole is stripped bought the right tap tried tapping it and bolt will thread but never tightens down any other ideas what i can do ? Still leaking pretty good

Tap the hole for a heli-coil . Once finished they are very strong

Yup, Heli coil is your best bet if you can't tap for a larger bolt.
