I've been using the 1 inch wide ratcheting straps for a few years now and haven't had any problems.

I also use 1" ratchet strap's that are rated for 1000 lbs each and never has an issue.
These are most likely for something heavier than a 2 seat SxS.

I remember those coming out awhile back and they look kind of neat but then I just figured eventually the retract feature would quit working little by little and eventually become a pain in the ***. I've already got to many ratchet straps now anyhow since I've gotten rid of a couple of toys. I prefer my straps to have a soft loop at one end and a cabiner hook at the other anyhow. Makes strapping toys down a lot easier that way.

Buddy of mine got some for his rzr. They seemed cool but they didn't last two trips before the retract system screwed up. They were pretty expensive for just two straps that didn't last, I make fun of them all the time and it pisses him off. LMAO.
