top speed

Not fast enough...

67 on the drags with 14" paddles. Too busy watching popo's in the rear view up the hill so idk.

14" paddles is a lot of tire yet u still run 67 mph...does anyone run 7 or 8 paddle?

I'm running 8's. I was 48 on the hill but only 57 at the drags last trip. Going to be doing some more expermenting this trip (x-mas to new years).

My little ole commander runs 67..... U should be running faster then that

yeah, it was faster, but after some clutch tunning by Airdam I lost about 8-9 mph on the top end. It pulls like a freight train on the hill, and dunes awesome with belt temps in the low 160's...but I can't live with almost 9 mph loss on top.

I have to extend my trip down the drags a little more than most but 67 is the top.

I thought after Adam tuned your clutch you would be faster down the drags. I expected more 70+ mph Mavs down the drags. The power is there for sure. My mav was bone stock here before the clutch...throttle body...pc5..and cat delete. Yes the commander was faster and ran 75/76 mph in glamis but as you can see the Mav was very close completely stock.

Hey Guys, I got my Mav topped out at 68mph going down the dirt road next to the border fence on the way to Gordon's from Buttercup running stocks. At Plaster city, Driving on Even Hughes Highway I got her up to 73mph. And at Olds, I got her up to 43mph running Sand Stars. Running bone stock.. . .No Mods. . . .

Why should we ?? It has the same motor, we just have a lot more suspension than you do, other than that its basically the same machine. . . .

ive been to 74 in a maverick max with windshield. whats going on here that the 2 seater wont slightly out run a 4 seater? also when your hauling ass up olds are you in high or low gear

Actually the mav has much more power than the commander.

no, not sand, on flat packed ground. I just re read that and see they mean in the sand... I should not drink and post I guess.....lol...explains a lot, I really don't know my sand top speed, never went to fast, mid 40.

I always run in High gear through the dunes. . . . .does anybody run low while dunning ???

that's my question to, do you run low on a long steep sand hill or is high fine. seems you would maybe start smoking a belt as you got slowed down from the climb

After 3 seasons in Glamis on the commander and 2 in the Mav I always run in high even up china wall. Benzo Ur mav is stock how fast does it run in the dunes?

Whoa whoa, careful who your claiming to have more suspension then.....:big smile:

The mav have like another 15hp over the com. I know USAguys car is considerably faster throughout
