Had a few brief spikes to 7800, but pretty much run at 7600 - 7700 RPM. Guess it's time for some clutch work! :)

Ya know I don't recall seeing 8K all that much either... Then again I'm driving and not staring at the gauge..

Doesn't the Mav produce the most HP at around 7700?

Does this Mean that the Clutch is hooked up and it is just a matter of power and speed to get to 8K? (Not to many long straights where I ride to get to full speed, 72ish...)

If you aren't seeing 8K frequently does one need to adjust clutching?

The only dyno sheet I've seen Showed power to be very close from 7700 all the way to 8300 with 8100 looking like about the peak. Anyone have a different looking dyno sheet?

No matter what you should hit 8000 rpm on long straight with clutches shifted all the way out, then the computer shuts it down after that

I like clutching a little over 8k myself. 7600 and I can feel the power fall off, 7500 and it feels like the sport switch was flipped off. 7700-7950 is money. Any lower and I wouldn't be happy.

Dalton kit worked good for me it will go to 8000 then drop to 7950 7900
that's what Im wanting to do....but by the time youre said and done, you've got $350 wrapped up into a spring and some weights....almost seems like a better idea to just go with a new primary?!

What is the concensus on a new unit peak rpm on a 4~5 second wot? Do these gradually peak or climb to 7700 or 7800 or more or do they go right to peak while shifting up? thanks
