The wife wanted a foot rest so I thought a tool box/foot rest was in order so I made one out of plywood. Works good for some extra storage. Has spare belt, air compressor, bull rope, screwdrivers, 2 wrench sets, hand/foot warmers and tire plugs.

great idea, i keep a tool bag straped to the passenger floor. Its a great place to keep heavy tools low to the ground.

That's a great idea! Mine can't even reach the grab handle when strapped in, she just holds onto her harnesses and her feet just touch the floor.

Any solutions for how wet it will get in my neck of the woods? We deal non-stop with water, mud, etc....be nice to keep it water tight...and plywood would disintegrate if it was wet.
