I recently purchased a maverick xrs. The car is a blast to drive. We broke it in at Taylor Park CO. last month, drove it over the pass into Aspen, did it in 2 wheel drive nonetheless! Anyway, the stock Maxxis Big Horn tires are already half way worn out and the car is only 2 months old. I could use some advice on tires that will fit the stock wheels, that will last longer than the stockers. Kids drive the thing around the neighborhood like an expensive golf cart too, so this speeds up the wear I know, but would still like to hear what some more experienced owners are running...

Thanks,

Sean

I run 90 percent sand so don't know much about your question . I always heard great things on bighorns . Your best option might be getting a all terrain tire on cheap rims for the kids to drive around the neighborhood

Stock tires suck on hard pack or rock! I had 5 flats in 400 kms! Dealer found me some 8 ply's and harder rubber. I changed all 4. 350kms and no issues :)
