Sorry about asking so many question's on here but if anyone has the answers for me it's you guys with experience. What is the deal with these tie rods on the max? I started the thread about accessories and a lot of you mentioned tie rods are a must. Going to buy a max next week so just curious what I need to do about tie rods. Thanks

Quite simply....replace them ASAP. Originals are junk. Do it now before you get stranded out in BFE.
Contact Alex at CT Racing (AReed on here) for some quality pieces.

Yeah the stock ones are weak because there hollow. I have the Holz racing ones and they are much much better. close to same size as stock only solid alum and very strong. I have not bent my stock ones butI have seen that they bend very easy so it doesnt take make.

Hey neighbor! I bent or broke three different tie rods on my 'hopped up' Commander, so when I purchased my Maverick,
I put on a pair of A Reeds tie rods and kept the OEM for spares.
