Couple or us from work are going. First time going there. Anyone want to join us? We have 2 rigs coming my x3 with me and my daughter and them in a Teryx 4 with 2 kids so it will be pretty tame. Hit me up if you want to join us.

In the past I would have recommended little Egypt...I have gone there for years and enjoyed it but they haven't done any trail maintenance in 3 year's and I wouldn't waste my time if I were you (hate to say that about an old go to place ) I was there last month and was very disappointed and cut my trip short because the trails were so overgrown that we were dealing with tree branches and Weeds on the trails so thick we couldn't enjoy ourselves at all and we used to love it there..I don't know where you are coming from but you would be better off going somewhere else..we will be heading to heartland lodge to ride Monday in Illinois along with a couple other members and it has turned into our go to place this year and you're welcome to join us if you like...I am only saying something because I am sure you will be disappointed in little Egypt like I was last month most of the good hill climbs you can't even tell where they were it's so overgrown

We are from Flora, IL. And just getting started off-road again. I rode a lot when I was a kid but all local stuff as we were poor. So far mynfavotrite place I have been is Interlake Indiana. Heartland is def on our list but a little further drive. Little Egypt is only he and a half so not a big deal if it is a flop. Also have a couple first time kids going so they may be ready to bail early. Thanks Cal16 for the heads up.

Well I hope you have a good time I just wanted to give you a heads up before you made the trip not knowing how far you were... with that being said for the best trails you will currently find their go straight south out of the camp/parking area and when you hit the blacktop turn right and go toward the gate then take one of the trails on the left closer to the gate the kids will probably like roller coaster trail you will find it in the area I said to go and if you're looking for some easy hills follow the main trail east out of the parking area and follow it you will find a few safe and easy hills that are fun but like I said before most everything else is a disaster their right now and if you decided to go Monday to heartland lodge with us just pm me and I will let you know the plans

Well made the trip. Just a bit over an hour and a half drive.
Kids all had fun. I managed to have to try out winch today. Some of the trails were quite over grown and very minimal trail signs. But there was a ton or trails from mild to wild. FB_IMG_1567381434891.jpg FB_IMG_1567381459514.jpg

Thereallasco that is one of my co workers. To be honest I am pretty impressed with his Teryx. That s.o.b. gets around good in the trails. And he often times takes at least one of their kids or even other people that want to go so a 4 seater is needed. And it's paid for.
