I only have one ride on mine and got it pretty muddy so it got a pretty good soak and wash and then took it apart today to do the header wrap and it looked like new. I think it is pretty water resistant...How do the mat materials handle water ?
Yes it deadens the sound a little and keeps the heat way down.is the mat making a noticable difference?? what about sound??
The reflective mat material does great at keeping the heat down on the console panels. The kind I bought isn't the greatest for noise deadening though. I think I will put the foam back in to help out with that. I am sure there are other types that do a better job at both buty my primary concern was heat and the stuff i bought was supposed ot be the best at reducing the radiant heat. So far so good...is the mat making a noticable difference?? what about sound??
