Back in 2006 Yamoto copied Yamaha Badger 80 cc quad to the point the plastic was interchangeable.
They were sued by Yamaha and lost.
This Chinese copy thing is old hat and it's NOT that the original is the same it's that it was copied illegally.

You really wonder on some of these guys, it is kinda like the Honda GY6, there are like 500 different copies, because the design was very reliable.
That still doesn't mean that a valve cover fitting a CFMoto makes it the same as a Can Am. But, maybe I can find some cheap aftermarket parts for the CFMoto that is currently in 1000 pieces in the shop, because sourcing aftermarket stuff for CFMoto sucks, but is much easier on a Can Am.
