My X3 Max has a stuck fuel gauge. It always reads full. Any suggestions for a fix? Its feeling expensive right now. Hoping I am wrong.

You must not be running hard enough to shake it loose, if you take the right dash piece off the tank is right there I think theres a brace to remove to access the fuel pump pull it out of the tank and see if the arm is bent or? Thats not letting it move to show the fuel level

It’s part the fuel pump assembly. If you have an extended warranty, it should be covered..... mine was. No individual parts to fix, must replace entire fuel pump.Hope that helps. If no warranty, I would remove fuel pump and maybe you can fix it.....depends on what the cause is. Mine would read full until I had about 1-2 gallons left and it would then drop to empty/reserve......a little iffy if out on a long ride
