Can anyone explain the advantage/disadvantage of an encapsulated helix option for the stm secondary?

2013 maverick xrs. Looking at buying a STM secondary to run with my stock primary. Stock sized tires. I figured I'd stick with the 45 degree angle due to its popularity, but I'm at a loss as to whether I should select encapsulated or not. Primarily want to keep my belt temps down to avoid being stranded. I've had pretty good luck with the stock setup so far. Concerned the heavier tires may hinder my aggressive driving style.
