My dad has a 2019 can am maverick x3 it’s has around 70hrs or so and it will get going and sound fine then once you get up to around
40mph it wouldn’t go any faster and the rpms would sky rocket like the belt come off then it would sound like the belt is slipping up and wee bought a new belt because that’s what it was but we put a new extreme badass belt from super atv and it’s still does the same thing (with the old belt it’s was super loose we took it off without the tool but the new one went on good and is tight) I need help we don’t want to go spend a lot of money for someone to look at it. Thanks!

Definitely sounds like a clutch engagement issue....but could be wrong. There are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to take them apart and check for issues, otherwise you may want to take it to a SXS performance shop experienced with X3's or send it in to one of the clutch gurus... I would avoid a dealer service department at all costs!
