I found that if you use valve grind compound on the tapers, getting them matched good, then clean well with brake clean. This home fix seems two help lots. I have done a few commanders with good results

I'm from Russia. Glad to make friends with Amateurs Can Am Maverick.
I bought a Maverick in April 2013. The problem with the slippery washer solved? What other problems do you have? On what to watch problems during the break-in? I will be glad to tell You about the problems. Thank you!

P.S. Sorry for my English.

Every time I see the title of this thread pop up, I cringe and shake my head. What a lousy way to try and fix our machines. Slippery washers. Hire some engineers with real world experience in the off-road environment, Can Am!

The early production run had only one slippery washer. The current Run plus the ones that have had the recall done have 10 slippery washers.
