After 5 months of no off roading, because of my husband's recovery time from his second back surgery, we took a trip up to Young, Az. Parked the trucks off of Cherry Creek Rd and headed up FS 202 to the FS 203 and then took FS54 into Young. Stayed at the Pleasant Valley Inn. Perfect weather and temp. Enjoyed getting out to ride again!

Rode from the Perrine Bridge to Wilson Butte cave today. About 65 miles round trip. Hot today. Almost 90. Felt nice around 50 mph in some areas. Stopped along the way to overlook Evel Knevel's jump site on the Snake River, Shoshone Falls, and Pillar Falls. Found a family of honey badgers at a gate I had to open... Yikes.

Went right by Clay Cave but didn't stop because I've been there dozens of times. First time to Wilson Butte cave though. Read about it a couple months ago. Apparently it was home to prehistoric people and has been excavated a few time for artifacts. Easily 20 degrees cooler as soon as you enter the mouth.
