I have a 14 Mav XXC with the 2.0 shocks. I am looking for pointers on how to tune the shocks to handle how we ride better. We ride on east coast. Trails, some mud, plans for trips to Brimestone, Royal blue Windrock, etc... When I ride with a passenger we seem to bottom out frequently. No real jumping per say just trail riding. I haven't added anything to increase weight. Today I cranked the springs down .5" in front and back. I haven't changed compression settings yet.

Anyone care to share your settings and the conditions you ride in? Details of items added would be good to give an indication of how much weight has been added.

I'll turn them in a bit and see what happens.

Turn the compression adjusters in to see if that helps the bottoming. We rode with one this weekend and it would drag almost everywhere down the trail. Those extra couple inches of ground clearance make a big difference. I need one to rate the springs on and then I can figure out what's going on.
