You still need to heat the pin to remove it with that tool

Figured some people would like to know it’s available for less than 100 from most distributors.

Might be available but buyer beware. I would stick with made in the USA hardened steel just for the fact when you torque down on it the bolt doesn’t break. If those are grade 2 vs. a grade 5 or 8 you will get what you paid for. If you have a 50/50 chance you could end up spending $100 buying it twice. Sometimes cheaper does not mean better. If it doesn’t list the grade of steel then you most likely are buying the cheaper one.

In my opinion, this is the best tool available and comes with the right punch for reinstalling the pins too.


There is a video or two explaining why their design has some advantages over the G-Boost tool and clones.

Buying Amazon parts is never a good idea, IMO.
