Anybody have any idea how to repair a tear in my seat? cought a tree limb kinda sucks but at least it didn't hit my kid.

Depends on how bad the tear is. Might be a better idea to get aftermarket seats or buy some stock seat that someone has removed.

Did it also cut the foam padding?
If not, maybe you can get some vinyl fab glue.

Should work fine if you use tape to hold the seem together while the glue dries

it depends on how picky you are but the seat covers come off of the seat base pretty easily and then you can work on it without it having anything pulling on it. A simple patch will work or if you wanted it to look like new, a canvas shop that does boat covers and such should be able to repair it and almost make it unnoticable.
