Nope.... I see it as a good way to slow the punctuated equilibrium of the retard species. If you cant look at that and realize it's probably not a good idea to put yours there because you might catch on fire.... No warning was going to save you anyway.
IDK…. 10mm couldn’t see that’s a bad idea. And he’s got an engineering degree. Says so in his sig🤔

I still think RP has a potential problem on their hands with these “cage mount” tanks. We’ll see.

"engineering" degrees just mean you bought a piece of overpriced paper that says you use zero common sense in any of your thinking.

I got nothing for that one... I dont have issue with him like many here do, but that statement about storage on the outside versus the inside made me WTF out loud. LOL

I didn't say that, but nice try.

I said I would take it mounted to the cage over inside the passenger compartment. I did not say mounted to the cage such that the gas can hits the ground first lol. Think shock reservoir, yes mounted to the cage, no not a problem if you roll over.

Let's forget about the "inside or outside" fuel container war here...
Let's do some calculations together guys.
-Rollpax are 190$ for 1.5 Gallons of fuel.
So 425$ for 2 of them with shipping and sales taxes.
425$ gets you 3 gallons of spare fuel that you have to find a place to mount.
-Trail tank 14.5 Gallons tank costs 425$ with shipping, taxes and discount.
So 425$ gets you 4 gallons that you don't have to ask where the hell to store it to not catch on fire.
Easy calculation for me. I went with trailtank even if i already had Rotopax container ( under the seat).

Has anyone seen the engineering marvels lately on autos and heavy equipment? Shameful at best. We need better Universities.
Usually, the engineering shortfalls can be directly traced back to the bean counters.
As far as autos go, every time I hear “They don’t build them like they use to.”, I say say “That is a very good thing.”

Well I guess my engineering degree isn't worth the paper it's printed on either. At least not according to all you wonderful people. Hoping you can find it in your hearts to say a prayer for my stupid ass. I think your pouring it on a bit to thick and I've seen enough with this thread.

Remember you’re the one that said it. But, if the shoe fits…
