I purchased a BRP roof for my 2020 Maverick Trail.
It says I have to also purchase an Insert Installing Tool.

Any idea where I can get one?

Thanks,

If the inserts are just those 1/4 turn quick release Dzus fasteners then all you should need is a pop rivet tool. If that's not it then I don't know what you're talking about.

I had the same issue. I checked at Carquest and they wanted $80. I was not going to spend that much for a tool i may never use again. I found one on Amazon and it worked. Also able to do other sizes.

The type of nutserts Can-Am uses are different than most, i.e., hexagonal vs round outer body which correspond with hexagonal holes punched into the cage members. With that feature, those inserts don't need as much swaged clamping force to prevent rotation. When I installed my side mirrors 2+ yrs ago, I didn't have the needed tool so I simply used a metric bolt, nut and washer threaded into the insert and slowing tightened the nut against the washer while holding the bolt hex head in place until snug. Worked great and nearly free...
