Looks almost as if its a 45 degree swing arm. Maybe the best of both worlds between a trailing arm and a traditional a-arm? Or more of a compromise? I know I really like riding in trailing arm vehicles as the travel forces the vehicle to move forward when compressed where as a-arms rock the vehicle side to side. Will be interesting to see how this type behaves.

you can see the old mount for the trailing arm for commander
Plain as day,
Heck, you'd think it will be gone on production cars ??

I like the look of this new setup. It looks like the sway bar sits pretty low though. Definitely a spot that will need protection.
