Because I will be racing starting in March I decided to go with the STM/STM with the Steel Spider which is designed for long distance endurance and is the type of racing I will be doing. For recreational use the QSC is the better buy in my opinion and the one I have for sale is awesome, it hooks up so hard. Not to mention the QSC is damn near half the cost and super easy to setup. This is a super deal.I can't decide between this one and a stm.
If you don't mind me asking, what will you be running?
Thanks man, Idaho is only a 22 hour driveThanks for the explanation......I wish you luck in the upcoming races!
Ahh ok gotcha, so its not a big deal. It's only 180 to change the secondary over
Yeah, the QSC wouldn't be good for a backup in the field because of the need to change out half of the secondary.Dennis,
Are you replacing your STM also?
I thought the STM secondary's have different shaft lengths for QSC & STM primaries.
I would double check this before selling your QSC.
I purchased the STM shaft for the secondary so I will have both. If I keep it will buy a matching secondary the next time a used one shows up. I rather sell it thoughYeah, the QSC wouldn't be good for a backup in the field because of the need to change out half of the secondary.
Nope. Not at all. Many off us use our OEM secondary's with aftermarket primary's (as in QSC).I am new to Mavericks and clutching them, am I correct in saying that I would need a STM secondary to run this clutch?
