You can buy the guts new for about $650 but then you have to put it together. This one should work but you never know what kind of condition its really in.

Does anyone know the part number for a QE diff? I am going to order one in my maverick but cannot find one listed on the parts fiche under the maverick front drive assembly.

You won't be able to find one under the maverick parts fiche for its not available for the Maverick yet. You'll have to look under 2013 commander, Ren or Outlander parts fiche.

Is it worth the savings to get just the parts and re-build or just go with the whole assembly?

For half the price, I would build the one I have. I also build differentials for a living so I have a slight advantage.
