What exactly is the pre runner bumper? I think I have the pre runner bumper, but I have seen some that looks just like mine without the plastic pieces? Do some people just take off the plastic pieces or do some mavericks come without them?

Just a smaller bumper that doesn't house a winch I believe.

go to the Can Am website and go to the accessories catalog, it will show you the different options available. If you have plastic on your bumper, you have the stock bumper that comes on all of them. It is not the pre-runner bumper.
