You do know that theres some kind of chemical that won't let the paint stick - it has to be burned out..... Otherwise, it's gonna look good!

I'm interested in what this is going to look like as well. Yellow is alright but Can-Am needs to change their color schemes. Black and yellow looks ok. Their best color scheme is the black, white with some red. Now they have a really white and really red version lol. Long of the short; people do care what they look like lol.

Cheers,

yup i talked to a guy who painted his comander and he said they had to use a torch to boil out the mold release oils so the paint will stick.

Yep, just hope the OP here knows that.... Burning it out sounds a little sketchy to me. I'd be the buy that melted the plastics.

So funny got a call from the paint shop saying everything you guys mentioned above. He has a paint specialist coming tomorrow cause nothing will stick to the plastic he has already sanded so I guess I am in 2 deep to pull out....
Stay tuned already called my local can am shop to see how much a new set of plastic is. On a brighter note my stereo is done. Will post pics when I get it back tomorrow.
