Well, I didn't want to spend another 2k for rims and tires, but I now have a set of 31.5 stagger, 14 paddle, ripper, Kevlar, blah, blah, blah. Will be mounted to casino non beadlock 14x8 front and back. I sent my clutch to KWI to get the works so hope these tires combined with the new clutching puts it to the ground. If not I think I may need the can am 18' update and then will go to the evo 4RI set up and possibly add the pwr tune intake kit to that.

Yes, but I usually talk to Kelly as she is the real boss over there. Rear tire is 19lbs, didn't weigh a front as obviously less. My rims will be here in a few days.

I have the 12 paddle staggered rippers. Great paddle!!! Only issue is I mounted them on the factory beadlocks (xds), the did rub the trailing arm. I'm gonna need a wheel spacer to fix it. Tho, obviously , an offset wheel would do the trick

here is a comparison:

30" x 11 skats with extreme (10) paddle, on 14/7 rims, fronts 27.2 lbs, rears 29lbs, 92" ro rear, 93" ro front. These are from skat on their tire carcass

31.5" x 13.5 rippers, (14) paddle, full stagger, 14/8 rim, fronts 29lbs, rear 33.2, rears 99" ro, fronts 100"+ ro , these are tim from extremes kevlar carcass he provides to skat

That's incredible! I can't believe the difference. First time I think I have ever seen them compared like that.

Those rippers are ridiculously sexy.

There definitely looks to be a greater diameter difference than 1.5" gauging the truck front end in relation to tire height. Which one meets the advertised height? Curious what the carcass diameter is for each?

the 30" is 30.5, the 31.5" is 34" and is taller then my 285 tires on my work truck, crazy. I think Tim with extremes 30" would be between these 2 sizes as his obviously have more roll out then the ones skat uses on their own product. Both tires have 12 psi in them in the photos

Wow! That's ginormous. Love to hear how they do and how the car clutch turns them.

I went with the budget 32" CST sandblasts as I'm going to Pismo and hit sand 1 time a year typically.

32" CSTs seem HUGE. Carcass is a solid 32" @ 9 psi and dwarf my stock bighorns and supposed 32" Aftershocks.

I have decided on 30"x15" STU 1300's in the rear and 1200's up front. I cannot decide between 10" or 12" wide wheel on the rear. Part of my dilemma is finding a 12" wheel is n to easy. Also, is it too wide? thoughts?

A shop owner friend of mine can redrill the holes to make them fit on the x3. He did that along with some inexpensive china paddles that are close to the stu 1300's.
They work very well.

I like the comparison, Now would Tims 31.5 x 13.5 Rippers fit on the X3 X DS models with out rubbing or will wheel spacers and/or offset wheels be needed ? Or is Tims 30" better option for the X3 X DS

there are (3) x3's going and (8) polaris xpt's, one is a DS with 28" STU's (TIK on this forum) and we will have him give them a try. I will also have a set of tims 31.5 but with (10) paddle extremes on them on same 14/8 casino rims as mine so will have a few scenarios. Mine is evo 3, Chris has pwr tune 3, TIK has evo 1

I have my clutch getting the full KWI treatment and I also just received my pwr tune intake to try with my evo tune

Im still shocked that a 31" tire is over 34" tall, crazy

once mounted I will also post what my width is, gonna be huge I think. I do also have my shocks at shock therapy so when those go back on with the taller ride height it creates may skinny me up a little as It will have me at 16" ride height which sucks in the width a little
