Hey All,
Newbie here that purchased a 2021 Maverick Trail DPS 1000. I am looking for information on how to decipher my vin# to get operator's and service manuals for my Trail. I come across for example, 016 SSV - T Series and 005 SSV - North America, etc. From what I found so far that it was manufactured in maybe Mexico but the listings for this year's model are many. Please advise and thanks.

Welcome, newbie...

You can download a free copy "Operator's Manual" on all BRP products, including Can-Am SxS from their website. Yours can be found here:
Can-Am year model 2021

Best deal on service manuals is this one, not limited to a single download, i.e., the purchased PDF copy can be installed on multiple devices including phone or tablet:
Can-Am Service & Repair Manuals

How do I know which version of my Trail do I pick for example at the top of those links for the free parts views?

Seems you didn't scroll down far enough to see various service manuals, including this one for yours: 2021 Maverick Trail

Also noting, only North America compliant models are sold here. Probably mostly pertaining to fuel evaporation emissions control features at the fuel tank and filler cap. Assembled in Mexico doesn't mean "manufactured" there with parts content coming from multiple sources, including Rotax v-twin engines from Austria (unless those too aren't "assembled" there).
