Current setup is Blackbird 2’s and Prodigee fronts.
So curious to try another tire but this combo is so predictable and good.
Curious how folks are liking Mohawk fronts, buffs in general, or 35’s for that matter.
A lot of the fast guys in the PNW are running the Desert Master’s out here on Oregon Sand and having high praise for them.
I’m probably gonna stay on this combo. It hooks when I want it to hook and slides when I want it to slide.

i've been curious as well. i've got a P47 on E85, run the 32" BB pros on a comp cut #3 paddle. had 1650's on my x3 with a p43R turned up to 42 or so, and the blackbirds are quite a bit more fun. they definitely slide more where as the 1650's would just dead hook and pull the front end up. I think the diameter people are gravitating to being the 34's and 35's is somewhat riding location dependent. for a place like glamis where you're covering distances and the g-outs and whatnot are larger and you're willing to give up some acceleration, maybe they're ok.

i've been curious about the bigger rogues and how they drive vs say a blackbird, but none of the tire companies do demos where drivers can compare apples to apples to see what they like.

when i first got into SXS stuff, I had a set of the original sandcrafts before they went with the heavier ones they're doing now. didnt like them, fronts didnt turn in at all. then i tried some STU 1300's. much better. tried Skat mohawks, loved them. tried comp cut ss360. even better. now prodigee's. even better. have had 32 blackbirds, 32 bb pros, 1650's, etc. each tire is different, and it would be great for someone besides sandcraft to do demo days with as expensive as these tires are.
